I spent 25 years in the corporate events business, including running my own agency Inneventive Events from 2001- 2021. Events included team building, outdoor public festivals, conferences and incentive travel. I have enormous experience in managing events of all sizes including expeditions and team building adventures.

Latterly I have launched a wellington boot brand, TALOLO BOOTS selling fashion wellies to ladies and festival goers. This unique product has led me to develop online marketing skills including website design, Facebook advertising, google ads, Instagram and PR.

I moved to Dorset in 2011 and my real passion is being outdoors in nature. I live in the Piddle Valley and love walking, riding and running with my dog Delilah. To that end, I have embarked on a Mountain Leader training course and wish to become a walking leader, focusing on Dorset and the South West. I wish to combine my event management skills with my love of the outdoors to offer wonderful walking underpinned by seamless logistics. I am a member of the British Mountaineering Council.

I am an experienced and qualified Mountain Leader, National Navigation Award Scheme (NNAS) provider, outdoor pursuits first aid qualified and a member of the Mountain Training Association and British Mountaineering Council.

With several years trek guiding experience throughout the British Isles and in Europe, I am now keen to show you my home county of Dorset. This is my playground, where you will find me walking on my day’s off with friends and my dog, Walter.

Now into my third career, I have experience working 15 years as a Marketing Consultant and then 10 years as a teacher. My husband was an army officer and his work took us to postings in Dorset, Germany, North Yorkshire, Scotland. Now retired, we are putting down roots in West Dorset. I am passionate about delicious food, the natural world and helping others discover the outdoors on foot. Whilst Dorset is my home, I also love to explore mountainous terrain either on foot, snow shoes or skis.
